Caring for orchids might seem daunting, but with the right approach, these beautiful plants can thrive in your home.

Here’s everything you need to know to keep your orchids healthy and vibrant!

Lighting

Ensure your orchids thrive by placing them in bright, indirect light. A north or east-facing window provides plenty of natural light without the risk of sunburn from direct sunlight.

Watering

Water orchids once a week or when the potting mix feels dry. Use room-temperature water and avoid wetting the leaves or flowers to prevent rot. Keep them slightly dry between waterings.

Humidity

Maintain a humid environment with levels between 40-70% for optimal orchid health. Use a humidifier or place a water tray nearby to provide the necessary humidity.

Fertilizer

During the growing season, fertilize orchids every two weeks with a balanced formula. In fall and winter, reduce feeding to once a month to keep them nourished year-round.

Potting

Repot orchids every 1-2 years with a well-draining mix and a pot with drainage holes. Remove dead or damaged roots before repotting to promote healthy growth.

Temperature

Keep orchids in a stable environment with temperatures between 60-80°F (15-27°C). Avoid exposing them to sudden temperature changes for optimal growth.

The lack of blooms doesn’t mean that your plant is dead. Orchids bloom annually and with care, so your plant may produce another flowering spike for you next year!

What should I do if my arrangement arrives damaged?

If your arrangement arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will address the issue promptly.

Do you offer gift wrapping or special packaging?

Each arrangement comes with a ribbon and you can include a personal message on a card to make your gift  more special. Just let us know your requirements when placing your order.
